Toyota Highlander
Toyota Highlander Review
Toyota was one of the first cars that enter into commercial production of hybrid modes, and their Hybrid Synergy Drive until present, is still an industry standard for improving fuel economy and the performance of hybrid vehicles.
Toyota aims to stay on top for the heap and be extended to other categories of their Highlander model of Hybrid, but do they succeed ?
The Toyota company wisely decided to keep the engine light and pairing their hybrid vehicle with a 3 3L v6. The result is a vehicle that is a fully functional family-oriented SUV, it has much better gas mileage than many of its competitors in its category. It has more space and feel roomy than the old model, where both storage and seating space has improved.
What most impressive, however, is the savings in miles per gallon while still keeping the good performance. At 27 miles per gallon in city and 25 in highway. You can sit comfortably driving the car than when riding other SUVs.
For those families who are eager to be more environmentally responsible, but still able to pack everything and everyone in a roomy SUV, then Toyota Highlander is a great choice that's hardly beaten by its competitors.
Highlander Hybrid is definitely a perfect car for family because of its huge savings on fuel economy and spacious third-row seat -- but that utility comes with a steep price. The base price of nearly $35,000, Highlander Hybrid becomes the most expensive non-luxury hybrid car on the market. But further detracting from its value is the reality that conventional Highlander costs you about $9,000 less.
